Professor and Chairperson at Department of Psychology, Rawalpindi Women University, Rawalpindi since September 2023. Served at National Institute of Psychology, Centre of Excellence, Quaid-i-Azam University in various capacities from 2003–2023. Won Commonwealth Scholarship and completed PhD at University of Warwick (UK) and Postdoctoral Fellowship Award by HEC, Pakistan, at the University of Oxford (UK). Was a Visiting Fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.

Won three national and one international funded research projects as PI and Co-PIs since PhD awarded in 2014. Worked on various projects in collaboration with University of Oxford, University of Warwick, University of British Columbia, HelpAge UK and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Have the honor of being offered Professorship (Visiting) in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 2024.
